As a society, we are now accustomed to having information at our fingertips. Whether this be exchange rates, weather, our energy consumption, or following the activities of our online acquaintances, this has now become second nature.
This concept has lead to the explosion of Intelligent devices, or systems that report their state to a consumer of data. The systems that were previously isolated and independent are now required to essentially tweet their current status.
There is the difficulty where the companies that make amazing meters or pumps are not communications experts. Thus, their products do not participate in this new wave of information interchange.
EIN has developed the wireless ZigBee system that communicates with these devices and enables them to begin reporting to their consumers over the internet.
